I was a musician in my past life. I performed live music, wrote songs, recorded records, and collaborated with a handful of talented and amazing people. Throughout my journey in music, I was always the person who led the marketing activities for my acts. I managed my projects’ social media accounts, worked with designers to create posters and ads, wrote copy on the ads and posters, and became the marketing strategist and copywriter for my acts. And I loved it! Being the individual who studied people in order to craft the best message to use when marketing my projects led me to pursue a career in advertising.
Now I’m a data-driven, creatively-focused brand marketer who specializes in consumer research, brand and creative strategy, and creative copywriting. As a brand marketer, I conduct thorough, in-depth research to uncover cultural and human insights and write for brands to help them authentically connect to their consumers as people.
